The Alliance invites you to this special virtual event to launch the Community Engagement in Case Management Study! The study is meant to share with the global community what we learned about the work of community volunteers; the roles that they play in Child Protection, the challenges and risks associated with the work of volunteers, and best practices based off of global and country – level research.
During the event you will hear volunteers share personal testimonies and global and country researchers discuss their findings and recommendations. From these discussions, we hope to challenge participants to examine their assumptions of “volunteers” and “volunteering" in order to advance our collective understanding of volunteers and their unique and valuable roles and expertise. Simultaneous translation in French, Spanish and Arabic will also be available during the event.
