THANK YOU to everyone who attended the 2021 Annual Meeting on Child Protection in Humanitarian Action on Preventing Harm to Children.
The 2021 Annual Meeting on Child Protection in Humanitarian Action was held from the 4th to 8th of October over a virtual platform, where Child Protection actors had an opportunity to come together and exchange knowledge and experience, while networking with other agencies, academics, policy makers and donors. This year’s theme, Preventing Harm to Children, was selected to explore the lessons learnt, promising practices and innovative approaches to preventing harm to children in humanitarian contexts. The meeting explored primary prevention approaches that address risk and protective factors that negatively impact children in humanitarian settings in particular, alongside examples of prevention programming in emergencies from other sectors.
